Position: Case Manager
Department: Next Step Program
Location: Laredo, TX

Education & Experience:

• Bachelors preferred or some college hours in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, or related field preferred.
• Two year of experience in the substance abuse preferred.

 Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Familiarity or ability to learn standards and regulations related to DSHS / Texas Department of State Health Services and other funding and agency regulations.
• Familiar with mental health and mental retardation and substance abuse Services.
• Ability to participate with and contribute to the work of a high level professional Services Team.
• Ability to make presentations on to community groups.
• Ability to make referrals to appropriate support agencies.
• Excellent verbal communications skills.
• Bilingual skills (English and Spanish), in working with Texas Mexico Border population.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Knowledge on basic computer skills.
• Other duties and responsibilities as needed for success of programs.
• Must have reliable transportation.
