Position: Program Director for Outpatient Treatment Services

Location: Laredo, Texas

Education & Experience:

·        Masters in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology or a related field.

·        LCDC a must, LPC, LMSW, or LMFT License required

·        Four years of treatment experience (three years supervision) in an outpatient setting.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• STCADA seeks dynamic, hard working, responsible Program Director for its Adult Outpatient Treatment services.
• Oversees DSHS funded outpatient treatment programs for adults, specialized women’s program, treatment for adolescents, and federal probation drug aftercare program.
• Must also possess strong  knowledge of Texas Department of State Health Services  licensure standards, chemical dependency, recovery principles, relapse prevention strategies, client centered approach, family theory, mental health issues, group strategies, individual counseling techniques, and community resources.
• Will be responsible for clinical supervision and training of counselor interns, submitting weekly and monthly reports.
• Thorough knowledge of DSM-IV-TR required.
• Must have ability to work independently, supervise staff effectively, and also provide 20% direct services if requires.
• Must have knowledge of CQI management model.
• Must be willing to relocate.
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) a preferred
• Occasional travel required.
