Youth Prevention Programs
YPI (Familias Unidas)
The Familias Unidas youth prevention program is an intervention program based on Brief Strategic Family Based Therapy (BSFT). The program is designed to prevent and treat behavioral problems in children grades 3-8 and is available to children as well as their families.
YPS (Familias Saludables)
The Familias Saludables youth prevention program promotes a proactive process to encourage health and wellness for individuals, families and communities. The program uses the FAST (Families and Schools Together) model to build protective factors and reduce the risks associated with substance abuse and related problem behaviors for children 4-12 years old and their parents.
YPU (Youth Primary Prevention)
The YPU youth prevention program targets Elementary through high school age children by teaching a Life-Skills research education based curriculum in schools. It also provides information dissemination, supervised alternative drug and alcohol free activities as well as parent education
